Reading a book takes time. But in-between Facebook, Instagram and Twitter, our smartphone savvy generation is finding it harder than ever to find the time to read one. In fact, nowadays the average young person spends upwards of 135 minutes a day mindlessly browsing their social media feeds. Which is exactly the amount of time you need to read some of the most classic pieces of short fiction ever written.
Instabooks is an Instagram page that brings famous short novels to Instagram users in a series of small, easy to read posts. Each book in the Instabooks library can be read in 135 minutes or less. Letting young people consume literature on their favourite platform in a way that comes naturally to them - by scrolling one post at a time.
